While the FarmCentric text service does not currently support direct photo attachments or file uploads, you can easily share images (such as a staff Christmas photo) by creating a Custom Page and sending the link to your customers.
Text messages are limited to 1000 characters, so using a hyperlink is the most efficient way to share rich content. Follow the steps below to create your page and generate a shareable link.
Step 1: Access Custom Page Management
Log in to your FarmCentric administrator portal.
Under Content Management, click on Custom Page.
Step 2: Create a New Page
On the Custom Page dashboard, locate the Create bar at the top of the "Select Existing Page" column.
Click the plus (+) icon to start a new page.
Step 3: Define Title and Layout
Page Title: Enter a name for your page (e.g., "Merry Christmas!"). You can choose to check the "Do not display title on page" box if you want a cleaner look.
Select Page Layout: Click the dropdown menu to choose how your content will be arranged.
Options include Free-Form, Top Image with Full-Width Text, or various column layouts.
Step 4: Add Your Photo and Message
In the Full-Width Text editor, locate the toolbar.
Click the Insert Image icon.
A window will appear allowing you to drag and drop your image file or click to upload it from your computer.
Once the image is uploaded, you can click on it to adjust the positioning or size using the pop-up editing tools.
Type any additional message you wish to include below or beside the image.
Step 5: Save and Generate the Link
Scroll to the bottom of the editor and click the Add Page button.
Once the page is saved, a Page URL box will appear on the screen.
Copy this URL. This is the link you will paste into your text message to share with your customers.
Pro Tip: Before sending the link to your entire customer base, paste the URL into a mobile browser to preview exactly how the "Christmas Message" or photo will look on a smartphone.
