Bushel Wallet Authorized Users

User Types Overview

Currently, Bushel Wallet supports two distinct user types:

1. Wallet Owner/Controller

2. Authorized User

1. Wallet Owner / Controller

The Wallet Owner (or Controller) is the primary user responsible for creating and maintaining the Wallet.

Capabilities & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for entering all business information during onboarding.

• Responsible for providing any additional documentation as required.

• Has full access to see and perform all actions within the application.

How to Become a Wallet Owner: The Wallet Owner is automatically set to the person who opened the Bushel Business Account.

2. Authorized User

An Authorized User is an individual granted permission to view and perform specific actions on behalf of the business. For example, the Wallet Owner can add an accounting team member as an Authorized User.

Capabilities & Restrictions: Authorized Users have limited permissions within the Wallet. While they can perform daily operational tasks, they cannot perform the following actions:

• Enter or edit foundational business information

• Add funding sources

• Link a Loan or Line of Credit

• Deactivate the Wallet

• View or utilize loans and lines of credit (depending on the lending partner)

How to Become an Authorized User: A user can only become an Authorized User by receiving an email invitation.

• Who can invite: The Wallet Owner or another existing Authorized User.

• Process: The invitation is sent via email through the "Manage Staff" section in the Wallet settings. Once the recipient clicks the invite link, they are directed to begin their onboarding.

Onboarding an Authorized User: Because Authorized Users cannot enter business information, their onboarding focuses solely on identity verification.

1. Log In: The user creates an account or logs in.

2. Provide Personal Information: The user is prompted to enter their First Name, Last Name, Address, and SSN.

3. Identity Verification: This information is submitted to our third-party integration to verify the user's identity.

4. Decision: Based on the user's data that was entered, an Approve, Deny, or Request more documentation response will be given.

5. Access Granted: Upon approval, the Authorized User is able to access the Wallet.
